State funding over the next few years is not looking good. With imminent cuts coming, CEF has re- launched the $365 Campaign (A dollar a day) in a continued effort to raise funds to help alleviate some of the issues brought on by the CUSD budget shortfall. The goal of the campaign is to encourage families to donate a dollar per day as their commitment to our schools
The 2010-2011 gift to CUSD helped restore 16 class sections for grades 7-12, and maintain the 37:1 student ratio, with an average of 34 students per class. In addition, $103,000 was divided amongst all schools to fund art, music, and technology. Please have a look at the "Where your money goes" link to see how your money was spent. This remarkable achievement demonstrates Claremont's commitment to education. Thank you for helping us protect and enrich quality public education in Claremont!
We will be accepting donations of $5 down to pledge participation in the campaign, with an agreement to pay $30 per month for twelve months, a total of $365 for the year. Of course donors can donate the full $365, or they can donate monthly through a credit card. for those who can donate more than $365, we ask that you be as generous as you can. Donors of $365 or more will receive a 2011 yard sign that includes the SOS bus logo. Donation Form
