$20,000 gifted:
$6,600 went to renew the Accelerated Reader contract. AR is a program that helps reading comprehension and literature integration in the classroom.
$4,400 was used for a new portable laptop cart with 20 computers which will be used by all students in various classes.
$3,200 went toward the purchase of a Student Clicker system. This is a tool used by El Roble "Tech Integrated" teachers to check student understanding of content being taught; stimulate class discussion and enhance student engagement.
$300 was used to provide ethernet cable drops in the music room.
There is $5,500 which is yet to be used.

2010

El Roble received $10,000 this school year.  Money was used to cover phase 3 of the technology program. Document cameras and projectors were purchased and installed in five classrooms. Teachers will be able to use the cameras for lesson plans, showing DVD's, video streaming, and in class demonstrations.
