Shop and Dine is a wonderful opportunity for the community of Claremont to come together and support the public schools. One day in April, merchants and restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds to Claremont Schools. Students create art that can be "purchased" by their parents and school groups perform at the local train depot and other locations around the downtown village area. Past groups have included the award winning El Roble Intermediate School jazz band, Claremont High School cheerleaders, the CHS drum line and elementary school chorus groups. All of the proceeds from the event go directly back to the Claremont schools. Shop and Dine date is Friday April 23.
